Typically, if serving both red & white wines; whites are poured in the smaller glass, while reds are poured in a larger glass. It is very common for ease of the host to serve both red & white in one size of glass. A smaller glass offers more value in both the rental fee & the overall wine consumption rate. People tend to consume less wine in glasses that are less full, and more wine if pouring is more generous.
